Here is what I am learning to do in reading.

Evidence of achieving my reading goals

My reading goals are to confidently match the image to the word.

This shows that I got better I had 3/10 and then got 7/10 right.

To read for meaning and place the missing word that best makes sense in the gap like CLOZE activities.

This shows that I went from 1/10 to 8/10 for my sentence comprehension and 5/10 to 9/15 for my paragraph comprehension. This means that I am reading it more carefully to make sure what I fill the gaps with makes sense.

Chinese Cinderella-Chapter 3

I learnt that you have to tie your feet up in China because they want to make them smaller. If girls had big feet boys didn't want to marry them.
Children made their families proud by getting awards at school.
The funny part was when they pulled Grandad's nose hair out.
