ASSEMBLY

Our assembly was awesome better than any other.The thing that i liked about our assembly was DANCE.

Blue poem

Blue is  ice as it freezes the grass

Blue is my face in the winter cold

Blue is the first snowy day of the year

Blue is the colour of the sea shimmering and shinning in the breeze

Blue is my finger when it has been trapped

Blue is the sky sparkling on the roof tops

going to camp 2015

Going to camp was fun and I loved the kayaking it was my favorite activity because I like tilting the paddle its awesome. I like the tree climbing , archery, bmx, riffle shooting. Room 12 came with us to camp .They came with us to Raglan to do a treasure hunt to find Project Energise fitness prizes like bands and bottles.  We had to wear blind folds and our buddy told us where to dig.

I zoomed around the field like a cheetah. I am horridly nervous about going for a run around the field. My heart was beating  like a drum.  for our warm up all of Room 9 did big gigantic stretches. We then we did speedy fast feet on the spot. Next we balanced on one foot for one minute.  We went for our run and Whaea Nikki told us NO STOPPING! other wise you have to do it at lunch time. I was desperate for air when I had finished running. I was so tired I flopped to the ground huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf off the three little pigs .I  ran around the field two times some people in room nine did more like Rico and Jono. They were exhausted there faces were red as a red as a beetroot they were tired but they didn't stop. Harlem did very well, he was as fast as a cheetah too. Some people took of there shoes like me and the grass was freezing  like ice. After I did five laps around the field I was soooooo tired. I was tierd as well as proud of my running.

Matariki hangi

On Friday the last day off school the whole middle team had a hangi and Mr Williamson helped  us cook the veges we had to bring a peeler, and an empty plate. On the hangi day we made flax flowers and their was yummy food at the hangi. Kayley's dad helped us peel and cut the veges ready to go into the pot for the next day for our hangi and it cooked till 12.30 tool lunch time.  The carrot was yummy and the meat was yummy I am so glad that we had a hangi.
